Being Beautiful, something that is very subjective. What one finds beautiful, another may not. Everybody has their own definition of beauty. But, being beautiful is being the best version of yourself. Only when you accomplish that, you will be able to get people’s attention. Being beautiful does not have to be expensive or painful. It should be easy and simple. You are just expressing your true self. Why should that be difficult?

With only a little effort, you can be more beautiful than you already are

The following tips and tricks are tried and tested (by me mostly :P) and are highly effective. You will soon realize that the process is natural and anybody can do it. This is not gender specific. So, ladies and fella’s, get started right away!

1. It All Starts From Within

I know I know! The title sounds like something you would see on Tumblr. But let me ask you this. Have you ever found somebody who is sweet and polite unattractive? The answer would be NO. To leave a great impression on people, you do not need fabulous clothes and makeup. All it takes is a small act of kindness.

Approach people with warmth and be understanding. Help them and be friendly because you never know what they are going through. Looking good gets the eye but being good catches the heart. If you want to be a beautiful person, start on the inside. When you are beautiful on the inside, you are naturally beautiful on the outside.

2. Know What Beauty Is To You To Be Beautiful

There is a famous quote that says, “If you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid”. You might be thinking, this quote has no relevance.

Let me rephrase it a little for you. How you define beauty is based on what standard you set for being beautiful. So, if you think that being slim is beautiful, you will convince yourself that you are not beautiful enough, unless you reach that desired weight. This might lead you to start doing things that are unhealthy for you. And that is just sad. Why? Because, you don’t find yourself beautiful while somebody out there is admiring your hair and your eyes.

Different cultures and stereotypes have different definitions for beauty. Which means, there is no universal criteria that you can satisfy to be beautiful.

3. Put Health and Hygiene In Your New Make Up Kit

You know what is really beautiful? Being healthy and hygienic. No, I am not trying to be silly. Eating healthy foods and getting a proper sleep will actually enhance your health, which will reflect on how you look. Tired faces look unhappy and worn out.

Yes, I get it. Nobody has the time to do those elaborate routines you see on YouTube. But that does not mean, you can simply take your health for granted.

Take care of your hair, your nails and skin. These are the parameters that give away the status of your health. If any one out of the three looks malnourished, it is an indication that you need to have a check on yourself. Their nourishment vastly depends on your daily routine and lifestyle.  

You can also pamper yourself in ways that allow you to take care of your body. Getting an oil massage and a hot bath will help you relax, while helping you with hair growth and skin glow. So technically, you get the best of both worlds. Time for yourself while taking care of your body and saving time to become more beautiful.

4. Do What Makes You Look and Feel Confident

Confidence is key, they say. In this context, it is the key to being beautiful and leaving a great impression. If wearing your hair in a certain way makes you feel confident, do it. If you think a bold lipstick makes a statement, go for it. If your clothes boost your confidence, then say yes. Confident people are always attractive and beautiful. So, if there are ways to make yourself feel comfortable and confident, JUST DO IT!

5. SMILE! Not Just For Pictures

There is nothing you can wear that is more beautiful than a smile. It is a statement-making symbol of boldness, beauty and bravery. As a beautiful person, you must seem approachable so that people would want to talk to you. A genuine smile will naturally light up your face.

Whether you want to make a great first impression or you want to leave a mark in people’s mind, just throw a warm smile at them. You will be surprised to see the response you get in return.

Everybody is beautiful in their own way, I agree. But it always helps to put in a little effort to be the best that we could possibly be. The only person who could take care of you and love you unconditionally is yourself. Adore yourself!
